Getting A Mortgage Loan Is The Big Dream Of Most Americans
For many people, the goal of buying either their first home or moving into their dream home, is a big one.
It really can be the ultimate American dream: You go to school, get a job, work hard, earn, save, secure a Mortgage Loan, and then buy a home.
Homes are where families are housed and children are raised.
Sure, there are many other representations of what the American dream is: Starting a successful business or rising to the top in an arena of sport.
But without the home, there is no base.
We were made to live as families. And families live in homes.
I still remember the day as if it were yesterday. It was the day my wife and I were able to purchase our first home.
What made it so rewarding was the fact of what a struggle it was.
I was coming off a sales job where I made good money, but due to reasons out of my control was unable to continue.
I then became a freelance salesman doing the same thing for different people.
Getting our mortgage loan was trying because my income from the second job was not as long-tenured as the lender would have liked.
It took awhile, along with some personal guarantees from my employer, to make it work.
